Install the Parent App on Android

The Parent App is how you set rules, see what your child is doing, and respond to requests. Here's how to install it on Android.

Step 1 — Download the app

On your Android phone, open a browser and go to koodos.app/setup. Tap Download for Android.

The download is an APK file (about 50 MB). Your browser will ask if you want to allow downloads from this site — tap OK.

Step 2 — Install the APK

Open the downloaded file. Android will ask permission to install apps from this source the first time. Tap Settings, enable Allow from this source, then go back and tap Install.

This is a one-time prompt. We're working on bringing Koodos to the Play Store soon.

Step 3 — Sign in or create an account

Open the Parent App and sign in with your parent account, or create one if this is your first time. You can also create an account at parents.koodos.app from any browser.

Step 4 — Add your first child

Tap Add child, enter a name and pick an avatar emoji. Then tap Add device to pair their PC, iPad, or iPhone.
